Allgemeine Informationen
Bauform: Oktavmodelle
Oktav gestimmte Mundharmonikas werden hauptsächlich in der Volksmusik eingesetzt. Sie sind ebenfalls an der Querteilung der einzelnen Luftkanäle zu erkennen. Darüber hinaus besitzen sie alle eine sogenannte „Bananen“-Form. Durch die Teilung erhält jeder Kanal, entweder auf Blasen oder Ziehen, zwei gleichzeitig erklingende Töne, die im Oktavabstand gestimmt sind. Der Klang dieser Instrumentengattung ist dadurch voll und kräftig.
